We had a great meeting today at Panera Bread during which we discussed the current state of affairs as well as the future plans for our organization. The meeting was not only interesting but also refreshing. Reynolds’ Right Hands is undergoing some major changes including some new leadership as well as bigger projects. As we shift our focus from a small scale operation to growing our organization, it is important that we don’t lose track of our focus. We started out as a very small group in the wake of a tragic accident. When Ms. Reynolds was tragically killed in 2009, we were devastated. Out of that tragedy arose a group of students dedicated to carrying on her passion and fire. We set our sights on changing local and state laws in order to reduce the risk of traffic accidents due to distracted driving. More specifically though, our aim is to put an end to texting while driving. We have done quite a bit over the past two years, including innovating new informational tools and making contacts with members of the national community. With that in mind, we determined today that the time has come for our organization to grow in not only size, but also influence as well as prominence. We discussed in great detail how we can achieve this goal over the coming months. Tyler along with the rest of us came up with a series of steps and goals that will be implemented in the next few weeks, months, and even the next year. We are gaining a clear vision for the future of our organization. We have achieved a great many things already but there is still much to be done. Look out in the coming months for big things from Reynolds’ Right Hands.
